How do I connect my turntable to my mixer to connect to my pc?
I have a mixer and a turntable that I want to connect to my PC through my soundcard but I am not sure how to go about doing so.

There is 4 wires on the turntable, the power, the RCA out and the ground.
The turntable will not work direct on the mixer, you have to get an external “pre-amp” (about 20$) then plug it to the mixer and make sure that the turntable is grounded with the mixer. Then using the mixer headphones output, connect it to your microphone 1/8″ female plug on your sound card using a stereo jack (sound card will recognize).
Then to create a .WAV or .MP3 file using this free software called AUDACITY :

The motor spins the platter. There are two kinds of motors that you can find in belt drives turntables. The AC motor governs the electricity supplied on the socket of the wall without using transformer or any other voltage regulation. With a little cleaning and greasing, it will function effectively no matter how old it is. The DC is the other type of motor very common in home electronics because they are small and simple to make.
